Allison Wild

Founder & Managing Director

Allison Wild is the founder and managing director of Oxford Biosciences, and the Clinical Pharmacologist whose name stands behind the company's safety assessments. She read Clinical Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics at the University of Oxford, completing her MSc with distinction, and has worked in cosmetic safety science since 2006. As Chief Cosmetic Product Safety Assessor she has overseen the assessment of more than 62,000 products now legally on the market, for over 5,000 brands.

Behind every assessment sits a team organised by discipline rather than by sales territory, and employed in-house rather than farmed out to subcontractors. Each function reports into the same quality system and the same final sign-off.

In-house safety assessors

Our in-house assessors qualified under Annex I of Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009, employed here rather than contracted out, carrying out the exposure modelling and toxicological risk assessment behind every CPSR.

Head of Laboratory Sciences

Leads our three in-house laboratories and the analytical, microbiological and stability work that supplies the data the safety assessment is built on. The analytical work is not contracted out.

Chief Cosmetic Formulator

Provides formulation review and reformulation support where a product needs to be brought within the restrictions of a target market, so that compliance and the bench work stay joined up.
